Market standard pumpkin

Getting a new pumpkin variety to the market takes many years of trialing and hard work. This time all the hard work has paid off with our new variety.

Baron

After 2 years of commercial sales, Baron is going from strength to strength. Yields have been very high this past season. The internal colour is second to none and the outside skin is a smooth grey.

Baron also has a smaller seed cavity meaning higher fruit weight and more of the pumpkin that is edible. It has been said by some growers that Baron is the tastiest pumpkin on the market at the moment.

Miles Fong of Desloe Produce, had this to say about Baron:

Baron is very easy to grow. Low maintenance and only needed one fertiliser application.  A vigorous canopy which grows fast to cover the ground and helps keep the weeds down. There was no disease either. Baron has great internal colour and all our customers comment on how good the flavour is.”
