Warren Hobson

Warren is General Manager, Sales and Product Development. Warren started with Lefroy Valley in 2000 and later spent some time with Lefroy Valley Australia. Warren has worked in the horticultural industry for over 35 years including the biological control and substrates industry. In 2008 Warren returned to NZ and Lefroy Valley. Warren’s focus is capsicum, summer crops, mesculin and processing.

Paula came to Lefroy Valley in 2020 from Nunhems. With over 30 years in the horticultural industry in varied roles and products, Paula has great knowledge and expertise to help growers find the right seed solution for them. Paula has a focus on indoor crops.
Richard Kay

Richard is based in Hawkes Bay. After completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agribusiness in 2006 at Massey University, Richard worked as an Agronomist for a large food processing company in Gisborne focusing on Sweetcorn, Squash, and Peas. He has a solid understanding of the food processing industry and the agronomic skills to go with it. Richard joined LVNZ in 2015 after working 3 years for Lefroy Valley Australia.
Damon Nielsen

Damon has been in a permanent role with Lefroy Valley since August 2013. Originally running the warehouse now has grown into a fulltime role as Technical Sales Representative in the Frankin, Canterbury & Otago/Southland regions. Damon grew up on a dairy farm in the Waikato and worded in the horticultural industry in the UK before coming to Lefroy Valley.
Keith Vallabh

Keith has over 35 years of horticulture industry experience. After obtaining two Hort diplomas at Massey University, specialising in agronomy and drop production systems, Keith has been a commercial vegetable grower for 30 years and had his own business Pineview Gardens Ltd in Pukekohe. During and after this period, Keith served the vegetable industry for 25 years at VegFed, across many committees with 10 years as a Vegetable NZ chairman. Since growing, he has worked in a number of industries. This includes horticultural, breeding and fertiliser supply companies in senior roles. Keith is passional about our industry.
Janine came to Lefroy Valley in early 2000 with the experience of having grown spring onions and outdoor capsicums commercially. Based in our Pukekohe office, Janine is an integral part of the company, and after 25 years in sales, now has a key part time role as Administrator and sales support.
Glennys has been with us since August 2008. Previously employed in the Onion Export industry, her skills are in the field of export documentation, logistics and customer service. With over 30 years of experience in administration, both in corporate and sole charge positions. Being a local, Glennys has spent all her life in the Franklin District. Glennys enjoys being part of the Lefroy Valley team and is at reception to serve customers both calling and visiting our warehouse in Pukekohe.
Our customer service team are always on hand to take your orders either by email, phone or in person at our office in Pukekohe.
Keith joined us in Oct 2022 and having worked in warehouse dispatch for many years, quickly made himself an invaluable member of our team. He now grows his own vegetables!
Lani has been with us since 2017 and is responsible for the germination and quality assurance systems we have in place for our seeds. Lani enters your orders into our system and prepares them for dispatch.
